Mitzi ‘I am I have just found out that my owners are going away on holiday. And sending to me off to a cattery. Where I won’t know anyone and it will be horrible. I am so scared’

Mitzi ‘It’s called Paws For Thought Cattery. What a stupid name for a cattery’
Jasper ‘Hey that’s the one I go to. It’s brilliant there. Rob and Denise are lovely they are the ones that own it and look after us. I like to think of it as my holiday spa break. Nice and relaxing great food and the accommodation is great’
Mitzi ‘Will I get a cuddle and a few treats’
Jasper ‘Like I said it’s like a Spa. You will get lots of cuddles and playtime in the afternoons. As for food and treats its better than home you get the same food as you get at home plus sometimes you get extra fresh fish and chicken. At night just before bed you will get Dreamies left in you bed and if you do not like them a stick treat. The best bit for me is the free mini bar they top up your water bowl all the time’
Mitzi ‘This sounds great, it might not be as bad as I thought it would be. What do I need to bring?’
Jasper ‘Firstly you must have all your injections up to date and bring the vaccination card with you’
Mitzi ‘Oh I have them. I hate going to the vets to get them done’
Jasper ‘ Make sure you have a secure travel basket and get your owners to strap it in the car. If you have a little accident in the car and wee in the box don’t let your owners stop and try to clean it out in the car. Leave it until you get to Paws for Thought and Rob and Denise will be happy to clean it. You do not want to be getting lost if a car door is opened’
Mitzi (BLUSHING) ‘I would not wee in my box’
Jasper ‘What with your owner driving he’s mad’
Mitzi ‘What else do I need to bring’
Jasper ‘Nothing really Paws for Thought has everything else that you need. But if you want you can bring your own bed if you have one. I like to leave all my fur on the bed and the sofas just to annoy my mum, so I don’t have one. Bring your own scratching post with you if you have one as Rob and Denise say that you cannot clean them properly. If you have any favourite toys take them too. If you are going to miss your mum ask her for a t shirt that smells of you and her’
Mitzi ‘I’m starting to like the idea of this’

Mitzi ‘I cannot wait for my holiday this is going to be great fun’
Jasper ‘Rob and Denise will even take pictures of you and send them to your mum and dad to let them know how you are getting on’
